A web hosting company that lets a site be down for DAYS without noticing themselves that the site is down?
Whatever the owner of eve-survival is paying these morons is no doubt 20 times more than their service is worth.

The hosting service is free of charge. There has been a banner some times, when the owner wanted some publicity for his mmo. But that's all. He did it to give something back for the original pages, and has been a great help. The hosting company he is using is still up from what I can see, so this can be anything. We don't need to speculate before I get some answers.

Like I told you in the last mail, it's not me that makes the site. It's all the people that uses it and contributes. That's the beauty with a wiki. Make it good, and you will have no problem being a nice addition to all the other sites.

Yep. That's why the front page and the Mission index is moderated by dedicated editors. This is kind of a moderation, like the one you got to have on custom made web pages with an option to submit. I've been playing this game since 2003 and I've seen the downfall of many eve related web pages that is not of the wiki/forum concept. Including my own.
Plus it has a invite code so you have to play eve to be able to write something there. So it's not free for all and it's not unmoderated.

It's a free service. You don't have to contribute. You don't have to pay for it. You can use mirrors or the cache function of google. And you still call it "unacceptable"?
